PURPOSE OF PROCESSING
Pursuant to the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the personal information collected is used to maintain academic relations with the user. The intended processing operations are:
• Send academic and scientific communications via email and social networks. These communications will be made by the data controller and will be related to their products and services, or those of their partners or suppliers with whom they have reached a promotion agreement. In this case, third parties will never have access to personal data.
• Conducting research.
• Processing of replies to questions or any kind of request made by the user through any of the contact methods available on the data controller’s website.
• Subscription to the newsletter on project activities.
LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING
Pursuant to Art. 6 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, data processing is legitimised as follows:
• With the consent of the user: sending communications and the newsletter.
• In the legitimate interest of the data controller: conducting research, processing requests, etc.
PROCESSED DATA
In order to pursue the project objectives, the personal data collected and processed are: personal information data and contact data.
DATA STORAGE PERIOD
The data will be retained for a period of time no longer than is necessary for the maintenance of the purposes of the processing or for as long as there are legal requirements for its safekeeping. When these purposes are no longer necessary, the data will be deleted with appropriate security measures to ensure anonymisation of the data or their complete destruction.
DATA TRANSFERS
There are no plans to disclose personal data to third parties with the exception, if necessary for the development and execution of the purposes of the processing, of our service providers relating to communications, with whom the data controller has signed the confidentiality and data processor agreements required by current privacy legislation.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECTS
The user’s rights are:
• Right to withdraw consent at any time.
• Right of access, rectification, cancellation or restriction of the processing of your data.
• Right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Privacy Guarantor (https://www.garanteprivacy.it/home) if you believe that the processing does not comply with current legislation.
